Carrying Forward a Legacy of Faith and Generosity
Rooted in the Catholic values of stewardship and compassion, the Clarence and Rita Barhorst Charitable Trust provides financial assistance to Catholic faith-based organizations throughout the Diocese of Cincinnati.
Honoring Faith. Empowering Service.
Strengthening Catholic Communities.
Clarence and Rita Barhorst believed that a community grows strongest when it grows in faith together. Through their years of humble service as parents, parishioners, and faithful stewards, they built a life marked by compassion, hospitality, and a quiet determination to help others.
Today, the Barhorst Charitable Trust continues that legacy by offering grants to Catholic parishes, schools, seminaries, agencies, and charitable organizations that share those same values. Whether the goal is to strengthen education, serve those in need, or nurture spiritual growth, the Trust exists to lift others through faith-filled action.
